Can you tell us about the training class you’ve started?
- Its a free of charge weekly training for all KTH students where we train different martial arts. Both beginners and advanced performers are welcomed!
What different martial arts will there be?
- Mostly we will focus on thaiboxing (Muay Thai). I got some different coaches comming in and they are very talented in what they do. With this some weeks we will just focus on the boxing part and leave the kicks, knees etc out of it. I also intend to take in a taekwondo coach to hold some classes. For the future we can start looking at getting some ground game with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
What is your vision with this?
- There are many different ways to workout in KTH for the students like gym and various ballsports. I myself love martial arts and think its a fun and good way to train and I belive people will agree given the chance to participate. I dont belive or intend for people to become UFC-fighters but i think its people should learn how to defend themselves.
When and where are these classes held?
- KTH-Hallen Fridays at 17:30. For the next semester im looking at getting a better time and will then update.
How do you do if you want to participate?
